Chapter 5 Help Function ( & Screen)

The "Help Function" is available for almost every screen in the Nutrition Assistant. You access the help
function by selecting the button at the top of almost every screen. The help screen which appears will be
applicable to the screen you are currently using. When done with help, tap the button to return to the screen you
were previously on.

How to Use This Screen:
Enter the help system by either selecting a button on screen or by selecting the "Help" button on the main menu.
Once at help, the screen is self-explanatory but below is some additional keyed information that you may find
helpful.

Line Explanations:
Line 0: " ": Button The left chevron button at the top right of the screen closes the help screen and returns you to the calculation screen you were at before you selected a help screen.

Line 1: "Topic(s)" Description The topic description of the help screen showing is displayed on the topics line."Topic(s)" List Select the down arrow ( at 1:D) to see a drop-down list of all help topics available in the Nutrition Assistant. Select from this drop-down list to see another topic.

Lines 2 thru 11: Help Text This area has the text for the particular topic you have selected. Column "M": Scroll Bar If the topic description is longer than one page then a scroll bar appears on the right edge of the screen. Touch on this scroll bar to move the help text up or down.

Line 12: "<< Prev" : Button The "<< Prev" button takes you to the previous topic on the topic's list. To close the help screen use the button at the top right of the screen. "More >>" : Button The "More >>" button appears if there are more topics directly related to the
one showing. Selecting this button will display this associated help topic. "Next >>" : Button The "Next >>" button takes you to the next topic on the topic's list.
